Luxury Resort Wear, Luxurious, Lightweight, and Elegant

Ikaria Resort Wear is made for those who, like a peacock with spectacular iridescent feathers fanned, want to make a fashion statement and an entrance. It speaks to modern femmes fatale who appreciate the power of their individual sex appeal. Luxury Resort Wear that delivers just enough provocative glamour to attract all eyes.

The lifestyle grew out of a deep affection for the golden beaches of Saint-Tropez, the incomparable azure of the Mediterranean, and the snowy sands of the Caribbean. The palettes painted by the romantic sunsets of Santorini, Monte Carlo’s sensual spirit and St. Barts' dreamy glamour fed the wanderlust-inspired desire to create a fashionable sundress that is both elevated and dramatic. After searching shops and designers around the world, the apparent need for something beyond the rudimentary remained.

Lisa Storie, founder of Ikaria Resort Wear, first set her gaze on the Pacific Ocean in Santa Monica as a teen and was immediately entranced by brilliantly blue bodies of water. That impactful sight set her on a course exploring vibrant, diverse cultures and chic coastal destinations, from the captivating islands of Indonesia and Greece to dramatic beaches in Spain and Italy. Lisa’s half-Japanese heritage drew her to explore the home of her maternal family, and forge lasting friendships with kindred spirits of all backgrounds and ways of life.

Her deep attraction to water led her to settle in Southern California where she started a family and, drawing from a masters degree in business, built a reputation working with fashion brands and devising online strategies. Lisa’s bold, unique taste planted the seed for Ikaria’s concept, and she collaborates with established fashion designers for each collection to create styles that continue to elevate resort wear to ultra-flattering heights. Her jet-set inspiration drives the silhouettes and custom-designed prints, and Lisa oversees every detail in the design process. Ikaria Resort Wear is always crafted in 100% imported silk and embellished with crystals from ®, exuding a sense of luxury and elegance.

Luxurious and lightweight 100% silk beach dresses with halter silhouettes, open backs, peek-a-boo shoulders, bustier-inspired lacing, hip-high slits, created with crystals from ®i take the concept of a kaftan to ultra-flattering new heights.

Southern California native Leah Hulon, who designed Ikaria Resort Wear’s Goddess II collection (debuting April 2018), grew up certain she wanted to design clothes. While earning her BFA in fashion design from Los Angeles’ Otis College School of Art and Design, Leah honed her skills in sketching, draping, pattern making and sewing thanks in part to expertise from leading designers David Meister, Eduardo Lucero, John Varvatos and Rebecca Virtue. Her resume is filled with diverse creative projects, designing and illustrating for Athena Swim, Antonia Melani Swim, PacSun, Guess men’s division, Forever 21 and Love 21, and Ella Moss Swim, to name a few. Along with Ikaria’s founder, Leah dreamed up the gorgeous Goddess II collection, bringing Lisa’s one-of-a-kind, travel-inspired aesthetic to vibrant life. Comprising eye-catching ready-to-wear, resort dresses and an ultra-versatile romper, the latest Ikaria line transitions easily from casual poolside days sipping rosé to evenings dressed up in sheer glamour.
