Social Media Strategist

We are looking for a full-time strategist to take our social media presence to the next level. We are looking for someone with a proven track record as a social media specialist and capable of managing multiple social media platforms with the most up-to-date trends and tactics for social engagement.

Responsibilities:

Manage, organize and maintain editorial/paid calendar campaigns, with post drafted and schedule for future publications

Monitor & track performance of posts and update strategy to optimize future posts.

Optimize content for SEO, ie create unique and SEO optimized content and beautiful visuals as needed.

Write copy and blogs for new products and collections.

Develop new content, implement new strategy, and monitor all social media platforms, (ex, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.

Monitor and track performance of posts and constantly update social media strategy to optimize future posts.

Set up email blasts for events, product launches, and new collections.

Develop and implement a social media strategy.

Monitor Social Media sites and alerts (ex. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc) for Customer Care Issues & Inquiries and provide prompt resolution.

Provides reports and feedback about posts/campaigns.

Influencer outreach and collaboration.

Round up news and create layouts about our projects and partnerships for email subscribers.

Qualifications:

Pursuing or completed a degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.

1. Experience with MailChimp or similar program.

2. Have excellent time management skills and able to meet time sensitive deadlines

3. Social media expertise 2 or more years in a similar role

4. Ability to work independently and in a team environment

5. Advanced Photoshop skills, a good eye for design and the ability to source and edit images is a must-have.

6. An aptitude for writing:
He/she must have a good command of the language and the ability to express him or herself in writing.
He/she must be able to clearly convey an idea in writing with passion for the product
He/she must be able to maintain a consistent voice when writing on behalf of the company
He/she must have an exceptional ability to convey a story both written/verbally that encourages interaction and social sharing
He/she maintains top-notch professionalism and avoid embarrassing grammatical or spelling errors

7. A solid understanding of SEO and content marketing:
As a person involved in the day-to-day management, promotion and distribution of blog content, an understanding of SEO and content marketing is a must.
He or she should have a big picture understanding of how blog and social media content fit into search rankings, and how all content operates within the business’s marketing funnel.
Should understand how reach and engagement on social media impact not only referral traffic and revenue, but SEO as well. Content is the cornerstone of the SEO strategy, and the social media manager is the gatekeeper and promoter of much of this content.
He/she must develop strategy to promote your blog content on social media
He/she must understand the connection between exposure on social media and increased search rankings
He/she must know how driving traffic to the company’s website impacts the bottom line
